Lonely strangers

Two lonely strangers in a messy bed.
Our souls are despairing as if the world seems to fall apart.
Our minds are full of myths and distractions,
Awkwardness, soberness, and a false sense of imperfection.
Our bodies are not as good as models in the magazines.
Dim the lights out to get a better scene.
Let’s play our love game with a scream of joy.
Why togetherness doesn’t make us lovers — but toys.

When the sun departs

I lie down and press my ear on your chest.
Skin to skin, sweat to sweat.
Your heart beats tenderly like a soft drum.
slowly walk your fingers one by one
far enough, and you gently strum
like the guitar with dexterity
You give me your soft thin lips
as if you blow into a flute playing your favourite piece.
I grab your hand.
You hold me tight.
Every fibre in me there’s heat lurking inside
The last bit of me turns to ashes and dust
I drown my body in your arms — with the naked trust.
